Pink’s phenomenal Funhouse tour soars to a stunning 43 shows, ticket sales surpassing 430,000 SOLD!
Edging ever closer to a Sydney venue record, Pink solidifies her record-breaking run at Rod Laver Arena with an incredible 12th show, and further extends the record at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre set by herself in
2007, for the highest-ever ticket sales by a concert artist at the venue.
The new shows are:
12th Melbourne show – Rod Laver Arena, Tuesday July 14
9th Sydney show – Entertainment Centre, Friday July 17
8th Brisbane show – Entertainment Centre, Wednesday July 22
Tickets on sale 9am local time – Friday January 30
Also announced as Pink’s national support act will be Faker.
Responsible for one of the catchiest singles of 2008, Faker’s top ten hit This Heart Attack resided in the ARIA chart for more than 40 weeks! The track earned the band Platinum sales, top five in Triple J’s Hottest 100 2008 and an ARIA Award nomination for Single of the Year.
Sydney boys Faker were nominated for a total of three ARIA Awards in 2008 including Best Rock Album and Best Group, following the 2007 release of their 2nd album Be The Twilight (EMI). Faker will appear on all shows from May 22 until July 4.
